Propaganda - war poster telling people they should go to war and the finger is always on them.
Bias/Framing - Steak. 80% meat 20% fat

Bandwagon - Call of Duty. This is used as Call of Duty use slogans such as the most played game in there advertisements. This makes people want to join the game.
The two step flow theory
Fifa Ultimate team packs, gold, silver and bronze. If one person has a good player everyone will try to get these and is willing to spend as much money as needed to have an attempt at getting a player. People put more money than they will spend on the game for this.
Uses and gratifications
Personal Identification - KSIolajidebt as he won division one and I remember how i felt when I did that for the first time.
Information - Sky Sports News as I can watch this and then get all the news that I need.
Entertainment - Criminal minds as i can set and watch this whenver it is on.
Social Interaction - Football as when this is on everyone is talking about this when it is on and after the match to have debates over the match.
Reception Theory
A Turtle Beach Headset
Prefered - This is what you will need to become the ultimate gamer. You will be able to hear more and be emersed in the game. Without this your chances of winning are much smaller than without a headset.
Negotiated - I could hget this as it will make some difference on certain games as they are much better headsets however I do get a free headset with the console so I may not need this as it is what I already have.
Oppositional - I do not need this, it will not improve my game and I can do better without it as I will need more wires and the original headset that I get will do the same job just as well as I alreasdy have speakers in my TV.

My main online identity would be my xbox live account which is linked to youtube. I do not post on Facebook or twitter. On twitter i mainly follow my friends and transfer news for football teams. My xbox live avatar is a tanned man with a lightsaber, tampa bay buccaneers shirt and sports glasses. You would find out from youtube that I mainly play Fifa and a bit of call of duty. From my xbox account i have a good reputation and play a variety of games. My avatar does look something like me. You would find on google if you typed in my xbox name lots of Fifa videos, Fifa account, Forza leaderboards and halo account.

Levison enquirey
Leveson's remit was clear, but in one sense narrow. It was to inquire into the the "culture, practices and ethics of the press" – it made no reference to the internet. Various witnesses argued that was something of a mistake, saying that they believed there was a real risk that Leveson would recommend a greater regulatory burden to be placed on the British press, and so creating greater opportunities for unregulated websites to take advantage.
The inquiry did not chose to examine the realities of online publishing, although Leveson scored one notable success when Paul Staines, the publisher of the Guido Fawksite, decided that he would not defy the judge and took down an early draft of Alastair Campbell's witness statement as ordered – even though Staines's site is based offshore and he could have tried to claim he was outside the inquiry's jurisdiction.
The, result, though is that many questions could remain unanswered. Should news and gossip websites be regulated along the lines of whatever emerges for the press? What about high-profile tweeters with thousands of followers – individuals whose remarks are more widely read than some online news? What about English language news providers from abroad, operating under the constitutions and conventions of their own countries? Once Leveson's report is digested, a fresh debate will begin about how far regulation is practical in the internet age. But don't expect there to be much appetite for a second inquiry.

channel 4
There is quite a lot of time spent on the brazil riots. This is shown in the opening creditis before you get the titles. These are short clips of storys they will show with the title music over the top. The studio is then quite smart with only the screen and the table white. The presenter was quite old but the timing of the news is different as it is at 7 rather than 6. The top story the brazil riots and the effects they could have for the country. This takes up 10 minutes. Then it talks about Ukip and there party leader but this takes up a lot more time (8). This is as they have a correspondant at westminster. Same time spent on the teacher who went to france with his pupil as the brazil riots.Same time used for india floods and trafficked people not criminals. Then they go back and look at an old story later on. This is Fukashima (4). Then you start to have celebrity news with Samual L Jackson. This takes up quite a 5 mins.

This story was about xbox having to go back and change what they had put into there xbox one console. They had to change there drm features and then they had to change used games and sharing policies. They did this due to widespread backlash in the gaming community. This was seen when the PS4 gained many more pre orders and anything to do with microsofts new creation was disliked on youtube.
The story has the following news values
Recency - Only happened a couple of days ago.
Currency - Xbox has been in the news a lot
Continuity - This could have many impacts
Expectedness - We thought they would have to do something like this
Size - Massive for all of entertainment

Synergy is when media is over all 3 media platforms. This is when broadcast, print and E-media are used to show all of the media products. This was a possible question for our case study last year. Examples of this could be the avengers which was a film, comic and has a website
Halo is also an example as it has a massive web presence while also having a large tv series and a comic.
Media convergence is the merging of mass communication outlets – print, television, radio, the Internet along with portable and interactive technologies through various digital media platforms.

Media convergence is the merging of mass communication outlets – print, television, radio, the Internet along with portable and interactive technologies through various digital media platforms.
Media convergence allows mass media professionals to tell stories and present information and entertainment using a variety of media.
Converged communication provides multiple tools for storytelling, allowing consumers to select level of interactivity while self-directing content delivery.
